This narrow triangular space was previously filled with large shrubs making the house feel dark and closed in. We opened it up to create a spacious circular dining space surrounded by Mediterranean style planting. Two further paved circles connected by gravel make the path around the house more interesting. The existing raised breakfast area was updated and tied into the scheme with the same sandstone paving. The planting scheme is predominantly yellow and blue with the inclusion of some slightly tender plants that enjoy the warm Devon winters.
